Curry Snack Mix
Oh my gosh, friends, it’s been crazy around here! Construction projects for both of us, a new puppy for Jenn…and on top of all of that…boom! Just like that summer has arrived. 99°F today. Yikes!
It probably goes without saying that we are currently reaching for our quick and easy recipes. Our Curry Snack Mix is super yummy and perfect for summertime snacking – whether it be a picnic, a hike or just hanging out by the pool. Like many of our recipes, it is super flexible. You can use any kind of nuts, dried fruit and cereal you like. Or a combination.
We know we’ve been a little sporadic about posting with everything that’s going on. We may not be able to post as regularly over the summer but we will definitely still be posting so please stay with us!

Simple ingredients!
Baked to crisp curried perfection!
Curry Snack Mix
- 3 cups Rice Chex cereal (or Wheat Chex, or Crispix or a combination)
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 ½ cups cashews (or whatever nuts you prefer)
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter
- ½ Tbsp Madras curry powder
- ½ Tbsp curry powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
Preheat oven to 300° F.
Melt the butter and whisk in the curry powders and onion powder.
Place the cereal, raisins and nuts on a rimmed baking sheet. Pour the butter mixture over and mix thoroughly (we find using our hands works best to evenly distribute).
Bake for 20 minutes, turning once.
Let cool on pan and enjoy!
Can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
